About Us

Made Easy Tours commenced operations in 1993 by taking travellers to India and Nepal. Within two years, we had added Turkey, and then Egypt, Israel and Jordan to our Fully Escorted itineraries. Vietnam, Tibet, Morocco, and the Western Front Battlefields  have enhanced our list of exciting places and cultures that we provide for our clients to experience and enjoy. Most recent additions are Syria, Lebanon (see "Antioch to Cairo" Tour) and Libya (to see this fascinating country and also the Tobruk battlefields of WW2). Most recent additions have been Borneo, Canada and Alaska.

Our mission has always been to provide a flexible, fully supported tour to destinations where that little bit more care and attention to detail makes all the difference. Although most of our emphasis is on Fully Escorted Tours to slightly more challenging destinations at particular times of the year (such as Gallipoli in Turkey for Anzac Day), we do have a lot of very satisfied clients who prefer to travel independently to these countries where we have particular expertise and knowledge.

Made Easy Tours provide a very special way of travelling. We give you an opportunity to see and experience some of the more exciting and challenging countries in the world, in a group situation where you feel secure, supported and confident. Our tours are planned especially for people who enjoy unusual, new and exciting places, but are a little unsure of travelling there by themselves. We provide holidays which are friendly, well planned, diverse in style and itineraries, and as flexible as the situation allows. This is done by offering a total package where we organise the flights from Australia and all of the components of a well-paced tour of the highlights of the country.

Our full time Australian tour managers are there at all times to see that your trip is hassle free and professionally managed to give you the best that these places have to offer.

We welcome first-time travellers as much as experienced veterans, people of all ages, (18 to 80), singles and couples, and confident or cautious natures; the only necessary prerequisites are an interest in the world at large and an open-minded attitude to the differences that make up all the strands of humanity. Our programs are designed to give ample opportunity to sample the vastly different cultures, religions, history, landscapes, foods and crafts of some of the oldest civilisations in the world. Our many repeat clients continually reinforce our belief that the best souvenirs of all are the exciting memories and positive feelings about a newly explored country.

We have been licensed tour operators since 1995 (TAG1524) and work with a small, energetic staff of 5 in the office and 5 - 8 specialist escort/managers for our Fully Escorted tours.

FLIGHTS

We include all international flights from Australia, all domestic flights on the itinerary, and all transfers connected with these flights. With the airlines we have selected, you can easily and flexibly plan your Made Easy Tour around a trip to other destinations.

OUR SELECTED HOTELS

We have chosen hotels which are central to the life and highlights of the city. All of our hotels have private facilities (except two in Tibet). We offer our rooms on a guaranteed share basis on almost all tours where, if you book as a single traveller, we will make all efforts to place you in twin-share accommodation with a same gender, single traveller. If there is no person available to share with you, we will allocate you a single room, and not charge the Single Supplement (except where indicated).

OUR STAFF

All of our tours are escorted by Australians from Australia (usually Brisbane). If you are travelling from another capital city, you will meet your manager at some port on the way. We provide clear guidance on procedure if you start your journey unescorted. We employ qualified, English-speaking, local guides for the entire country on most tours, and at each site in others.

MEALS

In some countries, most of our meals are included. Any included breakfasts are full buffet meals or continental style. When it is opportune to find varied and interesting eating places we have not included the meals, to encourage people to explore new restaurants. All included meals are noted on the itineraries.

ENTRANCE FEES

Entrance fees to all places on each itinerary are included.
