NAIROBI |

Arrive in Nairobi, meet our driver/guide and transfer to our central hotel. Welcome Dinner at the hotel tonight. (D) |

DAY 2: Monday 20 |
AMBOSELI |
After breakfast, we drive from Nairobi to Amboseli Game Reserve. Today we have a game drive through this National Reserve, located at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro. (B, L, D) |

DAY 3: Tuesday 21 |
AMBOSELI |
Morning and afternoon game drives in this reserve where Elephants, Zebra, Lions, Hyena, and varieties of bird life abound. Today we have a special opportunity to plant an Acacia Tree as part of a reforestation scheme. We can also hear a local Masai Warrior discuss the traditions and customs of the local tribes. DAY 4: Wednesday 22 |
LAKE MANYAR TANZANIA |
|
An early game drive before we drive to the border and cross into Tanzania. We have lunch in Arusha and continue to Lake Manyara. This afternoon we have a game drive to see the colourful birdlife, many Baboons, Warthogs and Giraffes. (B, L, D) |

DAY 5: Thursday 23 |
NGORONGORO |
|
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Afterwards we set off to Ngorongoro Crater where we have a game drive deep into this ancient crater, home to around 25,000 wild animals. Our lodge has wonderful views out over the crater, and the pink "clouds” of flamingos that cluster at the lake’s edge. (B, L, D) |

DAY 6: Friday 24 |
SERENGETI |
|
After breakfast we drive to Olduvai Gorge, the historically important archaeological site where the Leakey family found evidence of early man dating back to preserved footprints from over 2 ½ million years ago. The museum has interesting exhibits from this area. Today is a long game drive to the National Park of Serengeti with countless wildlife sightings. Overnight in our luxury tented camp. (B, L, D) |

DAY 7: Saturday 25 |
SERENGETI |
|
Early morning and afternoon game drives take us close to great herds of Wildebeest, Zebras, Gazelle, Lions, Vultures and Cheetahs. There is time to relax in the swimming pool and enjoy sunset over the Serengeti with a cold beer, new friends and the sounds of the Wildebeest drifting up from the plains. (B, L, D) |

This morning after breakfast we will have our last game drive through the Serengeti as we drive north to the border and the Masai Mara National Reserve, following the Wildebeest migration path. This reserve is famous for its plentiful Lions, Zebras, Hippopotamus, Hyenas, Jackals, Gazelle, Topi, Cheetahs and more.

DAY 9: Monday 27 |
MASAI MARA |
|
This morning after our game drive we have a Special Bush Breakfast by the Hippo Pool. Afternoon game drive to see more of the abundant wildlife and birdlife of these vast grasslands. (B, L, D) |

DAY 10: Tuesday 28 |
MASAI MARA |
|
Today there is a chance to take a balloon ride over the Mara, seeing the herds from above. Two game drives again today with time to relax in the pool or simply sit and gaze over the beautiful plains below. Tonight we have a Traditional Bush Dinner. Enjoy a Sundowner around the campfire with songs, chants, and dances by local Masai Warriors. (B, L, D) |

After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight to Nairobi. On arrival we have lunch at a special restaurant before driving on to Lake Nakuru National Park. Game drive en-route to the lodge. (B, L, D) |

DAY 12: Thursday 30 |
LAKE NAKURU |
|
This might be our opportunity to sight the elusive Leopard in the beautiful forests around the lake. The lake itself is alive with Pelicans and Flamingos, and the rest of the reserve has many prides of Lions, Jackals, Hyenas and Rhinos. (B, L, D) |

DAY 13: Friday 31 |
DEPART NAIROBI |
|
Morning game drive before we head back to Nairobi. We have day rooms at the hotel today. There may be time to visit Karen Blixen’s house (author of "Out of Africa”), the Giraffe Rehabilitation Centre or local markets before our transfer to the airport. (B) |
