Gallipoli, Troy & Instanbul Tour

Gallipoli is approximately 5 hours drive south of Istanbul. It is very difficult to get around the Peninsula unless you are with a guide and have a vehicle. These regular tours are an ideal way of visiting the sites important to all Australians.
This Gallipoli excursion departs most days, but does not operate in the ANZAC week.

Full day tour today of the best of the Old part of Istanbul including a full lunch. Visit Hagia Sifua - the most magnificent Byzantine Church of all time. The Blue Mosque - the biggest mosque of Istanbul, the
Hippodrome, the Grand Bazaar, with its rich collection of carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs. The Topkapi Palace, a spectacular museum of the Ottoman Empire. Optional dinner with belly dancing tonight. (B, L) |
| Early morning departure to Gallipol Peninsula. Early lunch en-route. Rest of day to visit ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Chunuk Bair, Kabatepe War Museum and other important Australian sites, trenches and cemeteries before crossing the Dardanelles for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D) |
| After breakfast this morning, visit the ancient ruins of Troy, and its famous replica wooden horse. You have an afternoon free in Canakkale before returning to Istanbul at 6pm. Your tour ends on arrival in Istanbul at 11pm (B) |
