| Depart on your international flight. |
| Arrive in Hanoi, meet and transfer to our hotel in the Old Quarter. After settling in, we will be taken on an orientation walk through the local markets to the lake. Special welcome dinner with traditional entertainment tonight. (D) |
| Today we will have a morning tour of Hanoi, visiting Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, stilt house and museum, and the Temple of Literature. Free time this afternoon to explore or shop, before a performance of the famous "Water Puppets”. (B) |
| Drive to the lush Mai Chau region. In the afternoon we take a walk through local hill tribe villages. Dinner, cultural show and overnight in an authentic stilt house. (B, L, D) |
| Today we walk through different villages nestled among the spectacular hills. Afternoon return to Hanoi, stopping for lunch en-route. (B, L) |
| Early start to drive to Halong Bay, through the lush Red River Delta. Board our deluxe junk for a delicious seafood lunch and afternoon of cruising and exploring the magnificent limestone caves and islands. Dinner and overnight on board. (B, L, D) |
| Continue cruising through a surreal landscape where hundreds of limestone formations rise out of the Gulf of Tonkin. Lunch on board the boat. Disembark after lunch and drive back to Hanoi stopping enroute for dinner. Fly to Hue. On arrival transfer to our hotel. (B, L, D) |
| This morning is at leisure. This afternoon we will have a tour to the Forbidden City and the Imperial Palace. We will also visit the Dong Ba market. Tonight enjoy dinner and entertainment at a Royal Restaurant. Dinner includes your royal attire! (B, D) |
| Today we will enjoy a gentle boat trip on the Perfume River. See the Thien Mu Pagoda, buildings and statues surrounding the Minh Mang Tomb, and visit Khai Dinh Tomb. We will return by coach to Hue. This afternoon is an interesting drive past fishing villages, golden beaches, and rich green mountains to the seaside village of Hoi An. Cross the spectacular Hai Van Pass, visit the Cham Museum in Danang, and explore the hidden temples and caves of the Marble Mountains above China Beach. (B) |
| Morning visit to a "living museum”, the ancient port town of Hoi An, then visit a Chinese temple, a merchant's home and the Japanese Covered Bridge, before having a traditional lunch near the water. (B, L) |
| Free morning to relax on the beach, swim in the hotel's expansive pool, or have final fittings for made-to-measure tailored outfits. In the afternoon we join a special Vietnamese Cooking class, run by a local who has been featured on Getaway. This is our dinner tonight. (B, D) |
| Early transfer to Danang to board our flight to bustling Saigon. Arrive and transfer to our central hotel. Afternoon visit to the Thien Hau Pagoda, Cholon Markets and the War Remnants Museum, and see the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame, and the central Post Office. (B) |
| Today we will enjoy a full day Mekong River Tour. We will discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. (B, L) |
| Visit Cu Chi tunnels to see the vast Viet Cong tunnel system. This afternoon is at leisure to explore Saigon's many attractions, amazing shopping and markets. (B) |
| Enjoy a leisurely morning. Transfer to the airport for our flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival transfer to our hotel. (B) |
| Today we have a city tour including Wat Phnom, the Toul Sleng Museum (Genocide Museum) and the notorious "Killing Fields”, the Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda. The day is completed with a sunset boat cruise on the Mekong River. (B) |
| After an early breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Siem Reap. This afternoon we visit Ta Prohm - famous for being left in it's jungle state. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing "foot massage” before dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D) |
| Option this morning of an elephant ride. Today we visit temples including the south gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Elephant and Leper Terraces and Angkor Wat. Tonight we have a farewell dinner including a traditional Apsara dance show. (B, D) |
| Morning transfer to the airport for our flight back to Australia. (B) |
